Holtzen Building was founded on a background in fine woodworking and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. What began with custom woodwork gradually expanded into larger residential projects as demand grew for detailed, well-executed work within home construction and renovation.

Based in Baltimore and serving the surrounding area, Holtzen Building provides full-service residential construction with a focus on thoughtful design and precise execution. Our services include custom kitchens and bathrooms, decks and porches, trim carpentry, and custom woodworking.

We manage projects from initial planning and design through construction and finishing, including plumbing and electrical work. We also build custom furniture and built-ins that complement the architecture of the space and complete the final result.
