So, why are we called “Holtzen Building”? As mentioned in the ‘About’ section, our journey began with woodworking. The word Holtzen translates to “wooden” in German. But why German? Our founder’s grandfather was born and still resides in the Black Forest region of Germany. He is both a seasoned woodworker and, professionally, a technical draftsman, deeply inspiring our craft and approach. Naming our company with what might seem like an unusual word is a tribute to both our beginnings and the heritage that shaped us.
